Pre-ordering Desserts
What if I need a dessert within less than the 72-hour timeframe?
Please go ahead and let us know what you are looking for regarding a whole cake, whether by calling or stopping by (we ask for a 24-hour grace period for email responses, so it is not a recommended route for requesting a last-minute cake). We will do our best to accommodate your request or suggest a comparable alternative. To help with this, we now have whole cakes, cheesecakes, and tortes available in a limited selection on a daily basis that you can view in person at our shop and select from our Whole Desserts case.
What essential information is needed when placing an order?
When placing a pre-order, please provide your first and last name, phone number, email address, the quantity and size of the specific dessert, and the day and time you would like to pick up your dessert(s). Feel free to leave all this information in a voicemail message, and we will call back to confirm. You have the option of paying when you place your order or when it is picked up, though we prefer not to take credit card information over the phone.
Does Pure Bliss do custom cakes?
Our answer to this question is a definite yes! However, the customization of our cakes for your special occasion does not extend into customized cake shapes (round, square, and rectangular are all available), and Pure Bliss’s primary passion is baking delicious cake, secondarily focusing on cake decorating in a simple and beautiful style. Still, we have a talented cake decorating staff and the means to cover a cake in fondant, dye and stamp out fondant decor details, pipe beautiful designs and textures and basic logos/images onto cakes, build tiers, and accommodate color themes. If you would like any 3-D objects, fresh flowers or ribbon attached to your custom cake, we ask that you provide these items to Pure Bliss, and we will add them (or advise you on how to do so, if they would be most successfully added once the cake is placed for presentation).
How do I care for my whole dessert once I leave the shop?
Carry it from the bottom (not the sides) and place it on the flattest level of your car (such as on the floor or in the trunk), positioning it so the cake box will not slide around. Please take any turns and bumps cautiously, and store the cake in a refrigerator as soon as possible. Place it on a counter to come to room temperature for maximum enjoyment up to 1 hour before for petite size cakes and 2 hours for standard, tall, or larger size cakes (cheesecakes and tortes do not need more than half an hour, if any time at all). We will do our best to provide you with a beautiful cake that is easily transportable and sturdy enough for travel, but once you leave our shop, Pure Bliss Desserts relinquishes further responsibility.
Wedding Consultations
How do I make an appointment for a consultation?
Email is the best avenue for setting up a wedding or large event dessert consultation. This way our cake consultant is able to look at her calendar and coordinate a time quickly and easily. Her availability is on select weekday afternoons (typically 3 to 5 P.M.), and she is able to book consultations for those seeking desserts to feed at least 75 guests. If your wedding or special event is smaller than this, we can still offer a complimentary tasting to our brides and grooms and then coordinate details via email and/or phone. When reaching out to us via email, please provide all the following information:
- You and your fiancee’s first and last names
- The number of people attending the consultation
- Potential weekday afternoons that would work for you to meet us at our storefront location for a half-hour consultation.
Also, we will need to know the specifics of your big day:
- What is the date and time of your wedding?
- How many guests do you plan on attending?
- Where is your ceremony and reception?
- Will you be in need of delivery and/or use of cake display pieces?
- If you have an image(s) of a wedding cake that you like, please attach it (them) to your email so we can get a sense of the design you are looking for.
- What flavors appeal to you? Please reference our Cake and Filling menu on the Wedding and Event page. We typically sample up to four selections for a well-rounded example of our high-quality desserts.

Reservations and Venue Rental
Does Pure Bliss take reservations?
Yes, we are able to take reservations with at least 24 hour notice for parties of 8-14, except on Fridays and Saturdays after 6 P.M. or on nights of special events.
